My Reasons for Eating a Low-Fat Raw Vegan Diet
In this video I share my reasons for eating a low-fat raw vegan diet and the benefits I’ve experienced eating this way. I get to really open up here and tell it all, even some interesting observations I made regarding my libido…
There are certainly some other benefits I’ve experienced on a high fruit eating plan, and I’ve only mentioned my top few in this video.
What are YOUR reasons for eating a low-fat raw vegan diet or for wanting to adapt this way of eating? Do you have any particular health goals you would like to achieve through this diet & lifestyle? Please share in the comments below! I would LOVE to hear from you!
Here’s to You, Eating Healthfully,
Vlada
PS: Honey Kiss Melon I showed you in my video was divine!
Very similar to a cantaloupe but twice as sweet. Oh my! One of the best melons I’ve ever had. I highly recommend this fruit! Yum! ♥ You can find some pictures and the description of this marvelous melon down below.
Honey Kiss Melon
Honey Kiss Hami Gold is a new exclusive Hami melon variety. The Hami melon originated in the northwest province of Xinxiang in mainland China over 700 years ago and has been popular with the Chinese for centuries. It is said that the Hami melon was not originally produced in the Hami Prefecture but in nearby Shanshan. Because King Hami sent it to the Qing Emperor as a tribute, which praised the fruit greatly for its incomparable honey aroma, the melon was so named “Hami melon.” In China the Hami melon is called the “King of Melons” due to its sweet honey aroma, high vitamin content and perceived medicinal value.
Honey Kiss Hami Gold melon has a distinct light crisp texture and is incredibly refreshing and sweet. Honey Kiss melons have a lightly netted distinct yellow skin, pale orange flesh and are oval in shape. Some melons develop brown spots (sugar spots) due to their high sugar content and are the best tasting melons. Honey Kiss melons have a long shelf life and are extremely refreshing served cut into cubes or melon balls and chilled in the refrigerator.
Selection and Storage
Ripen at room temperature. Refrigerate cut melon and enjoy within 1 week.
Availability
May thru November. Melons come from Arizona and California. You can find Honey Kiss Melons at finer retail and club stores in the USA and Canada.

Hi Vlada – this is the first time I’ve seen one of your videos (I’m a relatively new subscriber) – I’ve read lots of your posts before but have never seen you in action – I have to say, I love your style of presentation!!
You are so clear and easy to follow…
Thanks for sharing your information – you know, I think it helps all of us who have to sometimes explain to family and friends (many times it’s over and over again) why we are not crazy, etc for choosing this diet/lifestyle. I have experienced the exact same benefits (except for the last one, which I’ll get to in a minute) – and it’s nice to hear them laid out so clearly – will keep them up my sleeve for when someone asks me next time
Re the libido issue – firstly, it’s so great that you shared that with us – I really appreciate your honesty! And secondly, I’ve noticed the opposite happening with me…in the past, I always tended to have no libido whatsoever – but since evolving to a consistent low-fat raw vegan diet, I’ve noticed that my libido has increased – not outrageously – nowhere near that – but I find I actually do have a libido now as opposed to not having much of one before.
So maybe the diet has a balancing effect. That’s how I like to see it anyway…
I look forward to your next post!

Hi Em, I’m so glad you liked my video & my style of presentation! I definitely have more videos coming! I also appreciate you sharing your experience regarding the libido issue — it was really fascinating to learn about it. I liked how you referred to the diet as having a balancing effect… Obviously, it did brought us to a state of balance in this regard no matter what ends of the spectrum we were previously on. Thank you for such a valuable comment!

Hi Vlada
Thanks for another great video and looking forward to the next one.
As a constructive comment, I would appreciate it for future that you speak louder, as I have my volume raised up all the way, but still strain to hear it (listening without headphones). If it is too loud, I can always lower it on my end.
Namaste!

Hi Mindy, thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment!
Sorry you had to strain to hear my voice — I wear a clip-on microphone as I record my videos so the volume should be on a decent level… at least, it is on my computer. Anyway, I’ll do my best to speak louder next time!

Hi Vlada, I secong the difference in energy – I can see this in myself too despite being fairly new to this lifestyle and not fully raw yet. I agree with Em regarding libido and return to balance. If hormonal imbalances such as PCOS for example cause a higher testosterone level which in turn may throw your libido off balance as one symptom, it makes sense that returning the body to a state of balance/healing would eradicate the dis-ease along with its symptoms and effects.
Thanks for another great video and being so candid!
